The summer course on "Introduction to organic agriculture and agroecology" has started at University of Alcala, Spain.

The aim of the summer course is the acquisition of basic knowledge and competencies on organic agriculture and agroecology. Specifically, it expect to know: The bases and principles of organic agriculture and agroecology and its implications. The key standards related to organic production. Techniques and criteria for assessing the quality of food and organic products.

The course is organized by the spanish partners of the organic mednet project, the Spanish Society of Organic Agriculture (SEAE) and the University of Alcala (UAH).
